Now that we have a working engine we're making the most of it by having made our way to Scotland Bay for the last two weekends. Scotland Bay is a relatively small anchorage located half an hour away at the Boca into the Gulf of Paria. It is a beautiful bay with jungle covered hills and water that's clean enough to swim in. We spend Friday night enjoying the peaceful atmosphere until the locals arrive to party for the weekend which gives the place a happy festive feeling. It's lovely getting away from Chaguaramas for a bit and spending the time reading, swimming and having braais at the back of Melody.
